(ConservativeInsider.org) – A good night’s sleep sets you up to take on the day. On the other hand, poor sleep can harm nearly every aspect of life, from your relationships to your mental and physical health. This year, Americans report that they got some of the worst sleep of their lives.
A survey conducted by OnePoll found that 34% of people who got poor sleep believe it was from listening to too much news. Another 22% believe too much time with their family or other housemates detracted from their ability to get a good night’s rest. Worrying, anxiety, and loneliness also led to poor sleep this year.

To fight for their health, Americans have turned to music, meditation, reading, supplements, and even counting sheep to help them rest. In addition, 61% of survey respondents are choosing to prioritize good sleep in 2021.
While we cannot control those around us, we can take responsibility for our own health and our own sleep. Making wise choices about what we put into our body and mind can bring us both a more restful night and a better day.
