Andrew Cuomo to Be Arrested for Crimes Against Women

( – Disgraced former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo (D) has come under fire in recent months. During the outbreak, he forced elderly New Yorkers with positive COVID-19 tests to head back to nursing homes to spread the deadly virus. In a separate matter, the former governor allegedly inappropriately forced himself onto numerous female staff. Months into these investigations, there’s finally enough evidence to arrest him for his misconduct.

On Thursday, October 28, lawyers for the former aide to Cuomo, Brittany Commisso, filed a misdemeanor criminal complaint in Albany City Court against the governor. It details an incident from December 7 at Cuomo’s Executive Mansion, where Cuomo “did intentionally, and for no legitimate purpose, forcibly place his hand under the blouse shirt of the victim.”

Fordham Law Professor Zephyr Teachout recognized how enormous this move was:

Sources that spoke with the New York Post expect Cuomo’s arrest or surrender to authorities to take place sometime this week. Cuomo has repeatedly denied any wrongdoing when it comes to relationships with the opposite sex, but this time it seems he will have to say these things under oath. While it’s surprising Cuomo avoided trouble surrounding his deadly actions against nursing homes and their residents during the height of the pandemic, hopefully, this latest lawsuit brings justice to at least one horrifying situation.
