(ConservativeInsider.org) – The Biden administration finally blinked after facing criticism from both sides over its horrendous open border policy. Finally admitting there is a major issue to address, President Joe Biden has called on the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to help.
On Saturday, March 13, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) shared its 90-day plan to tackle the border crisis, which includes bringing in FEMA to assist with the vast number of unaccompanied children at the border. As of last Friday, March 12, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) had around 8,800 unaccompanied minors in custody, and the US Border Patrol has an additional 3,600 or more in facilities at the US-Mexico border.
Dr. Marcella Nunez-Smith appeared on CBS’ Face the Nation to address the situation:

While the Biden administration and DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas now admit that the US-Mexico border situation is “difficult,” they still have yet to change any of the border policies that are likely encouraging the thousands of children and families to arrive at our border.
While we hope FEMA can provide some assistance to the thousands of children stranded at the border, Biden needs to look at the bigger picture to subdue the overwhelming migrant numbers at the source.
