Cancel Culture Strikes Beloved Books

( – Bookstores in America can choose to sell whatever titles they want, as that’s a personal choice of the owner. But, when the President of the United States chooses to cancel a book or author, that’s another story. This week, President Joe Biden did just that as he left beloved children’s book author, Dr. Seuss, out of a nationally-celebrated day founded on his birthday!

Tuesday, March 2, is commonly known as Read Across America Day. But, just over 20 years after its founding, President Biden ensured the well-loved children’s author would no longer be publicly recognized on his birthday. Unlike presidents before him, Biden made no mention of the famous author in his Monday speech promoting reading among school-aged children.

Dr. Seuss Enterprises, the company responsible for Dr. Seuss’s books, also announced it would stop printing six of his books that portrayed some different cultures as “hurtful and wrong.” Many Conservatives pointed out that Dr. Seuss is not the only one subject to Cancel Culture this month. Fox News anchor Ainsley Earhardt spoke with Donald Trump Jr. about this:

As Democrats and their organizations push to eliminate free speech and thinking from American education, we must raise our voices to push back against their socialist narrative. To do anything less is to allow the Radical Left to corrupt our American way of life and jeopardize the future of our nation.
