CNN Reports “Disturbing” Act Of Abandonment By Biden

(ConservativeInsider.org) – Dana Bash, an anchor from liberal-leaning CNN, has called President Biden’s failure to acknowledge the grandchild his son, Hunter Biden, fathered during an out-of-wedlock tryst “disturbing on so many levels.”

It has long been known that Hunter Biden has struggled with addiction issues. In 2017, while courting his brother Beau’s widow, Hunter Biden had an affair with a woman named Lunden Roberts who was working as a stripper at the time. She became pregnant and gave birth to a daughter, Navy Joan Roberts, in August of 2018.

Hunter Biden has consistently refused to acknowledge his daughter, even though a court-ordered paternity test proved that he is the father of Navy Joan and he finally agreed to make child support payments in June of this year. While it may be unsurprising that Hunter Biden refuses to acknowledge his love child, many people, including liberals and Democrats, have criticized President Joe Biden for refusing to acknowledge his grandchild. This behavior is contrary to President Biden’s long-standing appearance as a family-focused man. President Biden has regularly spoken about his family, including his son Beau Biden, who died in 2015 after a battle with aggressive brain cancer.

President Biden frequently talks about his six grandchildren, conveniently omitting Navy Joan. According to reports, White House staffers have been instructed to say the President only has six grandchildren. When asked directly about Navy Joan and whether President Biden claims her as his grandchild, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre replied that she had nothing to share.

Many child psychologists have spoken out about the harm that rejection from family members can cause to a developing child. Refusing to acknowledge a child can lead to feelings of “abandonment and grief,” as children are unable to grasp why they would be rejected and often feel it is their fault. This can lead children to have trouble forming attachments as they get older, difficulties trusting others, and they may develop low self-worth.
