Dr. Fauci's NIH Won't Release Contracts to Public

(ConservativeInsider.org) – For over 50 years, citizens have been able to request government agency records under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). Through this law, Americans can stay informed on just what their government — and their tax dollars — are doing. However, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) isn’t releasing employment contracts related to Dr. Anthony Fauci’s time at the agency, potentially in opposition to FOIA rules.

On Thursday, April 7, the Epoch Times published an exclusive report outlining how the NIH did not fully respond to FOIA requests about Dr. Fauci. Apparently, the NIH provided an outdated job description for the president’s chief medical advisor and little else. CEO of OpenTheBooks.com, Adam Andrzejewski, told reporters that Fauci is “untouchable” and “protected” by the federal government. In his opinion, the NIH “is violating FOIA statutes and using expensive taxpayer-funded litigation to withhold it from the American people.”

Truth-seeker Peter Lardelli shared more about the public’s hunt for more transparency surrounding Fauci:

Americans would think that the government would want to be transparent about its highest-paid official in order to build trust with its constituents. But, that seems not to be the case. That begs the question — why is the NIH keeping Fauci’s contracts hidden from the public eye?
