(ConservativeInsider.org) – Executive orders have been used since George Washington first led our great nation. For centuries, they were few and far between and helped guide our nation without overstepping presidential authority. Now, however, the Biden administration seems to be pushing more out every week, each order trying to increasingly stretch his power.
Since taking the oath of office on January 20, President Biden has signed 37 executive orders. Rather than focusing these orders specifically on the executive branch which he controls, the president has been widening his authority to include climate change, the Affordable Care Act and immigration, items usually left up to Congress to pass as bills. Of course, this is on top of his repeatedly repealing many of former President Donald Trump’s policies that kept our borders safe and secure.
One US Air Force veteran shared how some states are banding together to push back against one of Biden’s orders:
21 states sue Biden for revoking Keystone XL pipeline permit
Led by the attorneys general of Texas & Montana, the states argued in their complaint the president exceeded his authority when he issued his executive order January 20 revoking permits

If President Biden’s track record tells us anything, it’s that he will use whatever power he can grab to push his Left agenda. In light of recent shootings, it’s likely that Biden will focus next on limiting access to guns through an executive order. These orders are simply out of control, and Congress must act to reign in these powers before our Second Amendment rights disappear.
