(ConservativeInsider.org) – As races continue to be called across the nation, Democrats did not win nearly as many seats in the House of Representatives as they had hoped, and Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is taking the heat for it. Some moderate Democrats hope to remove Pelosi in hopes of installing a less divisive leader.
Representative Abigail Spanberger (D-VA) narrowly won her race in Virginia but made sure Pelosi heard her opinion of the current Democratic agenda on a call, reported by Journalist Erica Werner:
Spanberger on the Dem caucus call: We lost races we shouldn’t have lost.
Defund police almost cost me my race bc of an attack ad.
Don’t say socialism ever again.
Need to get back to basics.

CNN reporter Manu Raju also shared some of Spanberger’s words:
Abigail Spanberger, who is narrowly ahead in her race, was sharply critical of the liberal wing of her caucus, saying talk about socialism and defunding the police hurt Ds
"Don't say socialism," Spanberger said angrily. "Don't say defund the police when that's not what we mean”

An unnamed Democrat lawmaker told The Independent that the party needs “a new generation of leadership,” emphasizing their belief that moderate Democratic policies can work for all Americans, although the current “messaging mechanism clearly cannot.”
These intense words show that even moderate Democrats dislike the current rhetoric of the Left. In order to bring the Americans back together again after an incredibly polarizing year, it is critical that both parties reign in their radical talk so we can move ahead as one unified country.
