Katie Couric Censored Ruth Ginsburg's Statement on Anthem Kneelers

(ConservativeInsider.org) – Once upon a time, Americans could trust reporters and journalists to report the facts as they appeared, unskewed by personal politics and biases. A new report highlights a startling example of unethical journalism, this time put forth by former NBC “Today Show” host Katie Couric.

On October 26, Couric will release her new memoir Going There to the public. However, those who got their hands on a pre-release copy expressed alarm that Couric edited potentially controversial comments from the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg during a 2016 interview. DC Examiner reporter Jerry Dunleavy shared the exact quote that Couric took it upon herself to censor:

Couric alleged she was “protecting” Ginsburg by editing this quote out, although she did air quotes from the SCOTUS justice calling NFL player Colin Kaepernick “dumb and disrespectful” for kneeling during the national anthem.

While the former NBC host says she tries to keep her “personal politics” out of her reporting, this is just one instance where she clearly did not. What else did she keep from Americans in an attempt to sway opinions over the years?
