(ConservativeInsider.org) – Recent polling suggests that more than 50 per cent of Americans think that the establishment media networks, sometimes referred to as mainstream media (MSM) have ceased to be independent suppliers of unbiased news and now have a primary function of purposefully misleading, misinforming and deceiving the American public. Only 35 per cent of respondents in the poll from March this year said that they thought that the MSM was a trustworthy source of information.
As if to confirm the suspicions of most Americans, the MSM seems to have conspicuously avoided posting any stories on their front pages concerning the recent allegations earlier this month by whistle-blowers of political interference by the Department of Justice in order to protect President Joe Biden and Hunter Biden.
The allegations suggest that the Department of Justice (DOJ) either failed to act on evidence concerning $10 million worth of bribery payments made to the Bidens in exchange for political influence on behalf of Chinese and Ukrainian officials, and at worst actively impeded IRS investigations by tipping off Hunter Biden’s legal team concerning a raid planned on a warehouse in Northern Virginia.
Outlets such as MSNBC, CNN, Politico, the New York Times, and the Washington Post have refused to report on what is shaping up to be the most explosive scandal to hit the Washington establishment since Watergate. CBS Evening News and ABC World News Tonight also appear to have ignored the allegations.
This omission is all the more remarkable considering that the same networks never missed an opportunity to criticise then-President Trump when the “Russia collusion” story hit the headlines, and then with the various allegations that have arisen since then which have led to Trump’s impeachment by Democrats.
The Russia Collusion story has since been exposed as a hoax. The Durham report, released by Special Counsel John Durham in May this year, found that the FBI and the DOJ were at fault attempting to prosecute Trump on very sketchy evidence.
