Liberal Professor Defends Child Predators

( – Looking back through history, people can see a trend of how once deviant behaviors become mainstream. Through a slow narrative change, things once considered harmful become accepted and even welcome. One such trend is happening once again thanks to an assistant professor of sociology and criminal justice at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia, as she defends child predators in her latest book.

This June, professor Allyn Walker published a book titled, A Long, Dark Shadow: Minor Attracted People and Their Pursuit of Dignity. In case there is any doubt, “minor-attracted people” refers to pedophiles and those who are sexually attracted to children. In her book, Walker tries to destigmatize pedophilia and emphasize how there are some “minor-attracted people” who do not victimize children, thus should be an accepted part of society.

One American shared more about Walker’s narrative on Twitter:

Through this example, Americans see a professor who’s in charge of molding young, susceptible minds advocating to make something unacceptable more welcome in society. She is trying to convince the next generation that attraction to children is simply another choice when it comes to expressing sexuality while ignoring the lifetime of harm millions of minors have suffered at the hands of abusers. Rather than allowing it to enter the mainstream world, Americans must call out this type of thinking for what it is: harmful and aberrant.
