MAGA Mayoral Candidate Allegedly Endorses White Nationalists

( – A Tennessee alderwoman and current mayoral candidate, Gabrielle Hanson, is involved in yet another controversy this year, this time involving an alleged white supremacist group showing up to an event she was participating in.

The group, known as the Tennessee Active Club, is repeatedly described as a “white nationalist group” and a “hate group” by multiple media sources, citing the Southern Poverty Law Center. However, the SPLC has been criticized in recent years for labeling any group that isn’t far left as a “hate group,” including Moms for Liberty, a group of concerned parents who want to be kept informed of what their children are learning in public schools.

Hanson released a statement saying she wanted to make it clear that she did not hire or request the presence of the Tennessee Active Club at the candidate forum she was participating in. She also wanted to “state categorically” that she is not a white supremacist or a neo-Nazi, nor is she affiliated with any groups of that nature. She stated that she does know one of the members of the group involved, but their relationship is purely professional, as she is the listing broker for his business. She described articles written about the event as “hit pieces” on her.

In the past, the only way a person or group would be considered a white supremacist was if they explicitly stated white supremacist views or joined explicitly white supremacist groups like the Klu Klux Klan. But in the current era, simply being seen with a right winger or criticizing leftist groups like Antifa is enough for the SPLC and the media to designate someone as a white supremacist.

Left-wingers claim that Antifa’s only goal is to stop fascism, but again, like the term white supremacist, fascist and neo-Nazi are used to describe anyone who opposes the violence and property damage that Antifa has been known to wreak upon cities, such as during the 2020 Black Lives Matter riots and protests.

Readers, as always, are encouraged to do their own research and form their own opinions, rather than simply accept the prevailing media narrative.
