Media Blackout - Media Ignores Hunter Biden Corruption Story

( – On October 14, the New York Post dropped an enormous, exclusive story detailing alleged corruption in the Biden family. The news site shared supposedly legitimate emails detailing how Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a Ukrainian businessman. These controversial emails, though, go untouched by mainstream media.

Are the Emails Legitimate?

On October 14, The New York Post reported that the email-containing computer and hard drive were dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop in April 2019. The owner allegedly found racy texts, emails, photos, and videos of Hunter Biden on the hard drive. The computer was never picked up nor were the services paid for.

The shop owner reported the computer to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), but he also said he gave a copy of the hard drive to Mayor Rudy Giuliani’s lawyer, Robert Costello. The computer was seized by the FBI in December of 2019, but Giuliani provided his copy to the Post on Sunday, October 11.

Mainstream Media Goes Silent

The New York Post details many “nefarious doings” of the Biden’s in its story. But, mainstream media has failed to fact check, provide a rebuttal, or even speak of the story. Instead, Facebook and Twitter severely limited access to the story on their sites, claiming a “lack of authoritative reporting.”

Twitter shared its reasoning on why they will not allow the story on their site:

Authoritative reporting on this, however, could easily be done. Many of the emails and photos have locations and people detailed, which could easily be fact-checked by diving into flight logs and personal accounts. Rather than choosing to be journalists, mainstream media and big tech are choosing to ignore and censor the story.

Searching for Truth in These Times

While it’s difficult for many to find truth in the news these days, some lawmakers, like Representative Andy Biggs (R-AZ), choose to fight for transparency and solid investigations into these alleged emails:

As major media outlets shove this story under the rug, Americans must search for the truth on their own and make decisions about supporting independent journalists willing to dig deeper. Fact-checking these stories and separating opinions from hard facts is essential to making informed decisions.
