(ConservativeInsider.org) – Even though the 2022 midterms are a year away, Americans are already looking forward to them while candidates announce their campaigns. As President Joe Biden’s approval ratings hit an all-time low and inflation takes a toll on people’s budgets, a new poll shows more US voters are hoping the GOP takes both the House and Senate to counteract the damage done by the current legislature.
On Thursday, November 18, Quinnipiac University released a poll it conducted of 1,378 Americans from November 11-15 with a 2.6% margin of error. The data revealed that 46% of respondents want the GOP to take back both the House and Senate in 2022. Only 41% of Americans hope Democrats keep the House, while 42% of registered voters want the Left to maintain its hold over the Senate. Surprisingly, 16% of those surveyed had no opinion on which way they wanted the House to lean after the election.
Quinnipiac University shared more of the poll’s results on Twitter:

This survey revealed the GOP has a strong chance at taking back Congress, even though the election is still a year away. The Republican party must flip five seats in the House and one in the Senate. However, with this clear momentum, President Joe Biden and top Democrats will likely try to do something to shift this red-wave trend, but only time will show if they’re actually able to sway American minds.
