(ConservativeInsider.org) – When Russian President Vladimir Putin sent his army into Ukraine back in February, no one could fully predict what he would do to the country. However, over nine months later, many of his orders have come to light. The latest startling report shows that his troops have abducted thousands of children from Ukraine, separating them from their families and sending them to Russia or Russian-occupied territories.
According to Amnesty International and Daria Gerasymchuk, the Commissioner of the President of Ukraine for Children’s Rights, the Russian army has abducted over 13,000 youths from Ukraine away from their homes. Gerasymchuk believes this number “is not the final figure” either.
This announcement came soon after a November report from Amnesty International called “Like a Prison Convoy,” which detailed the Russian process of “filtration,” which involved detaining and torturing children and disabled persons before shipping them away from their homes.
Russia has deported more than 13,000 children from Ukraine, Daria Herasymchuk, Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights and Children's Rehabilitation, has said.https://t.co/jRz4r8jJn3

One 11-year-old boy who was separated from his mother in April while at the Illich Steel and Iron Works building in Mariupol has not seen or heard from his mom since their separation.
In writing the report, Amnesty International spoke with 88 Ukrainians about their treatment while in Russian detention. Many were fleeing the towns of Mariupol, Donetsk, and Kharkiv. The organization highlighted that these abuses, which included electroshock and threats of execution, are war crimes, and the world should hold Russia accountable.
