Rand Paul Wants Wuhan Labs Funders Cut Out of Investigations

(ConservativeInsider.org) – As the people of the US and around the world continue to search for answers regarding the origins of SARS-CoV-2 and the resulting COVID-19 pandemic it unleashed, there are new calls for thorough, unbiased investigations. Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) wants to ensure there are no conflicts of interest that might cast doubt on future answers. To that end, he’s asking for the exclusion of anyone who funded China’s Wuhan Virology Lab, including Dr. Anthony Fauci, from participating in the investigation there.

On Tuesday, June 15, Senator Paul spoke with Fox News about the second probe into the origins of COVID-19. He highlighted the faults within the World Health Organization’s (WHO) initial investigation, noting they chose Peter Daszak, the president of EcoHealth Alliance, to assist despite better options.

It turns out that Daszak’s nonprofit has sent hundreds of thousands in taxpayer money to the Wuhan Institute of Virology over the past few years, making this an enormous conflict of interest for the WHO and Daszak. Senator Rand Paul highlighted the ridiculousness of this on Twitter:

On June 11, Paul also joined four other Senators in writing a letter to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) and the National Institute of Health (NIH) asking for documents written by Fauci, Daszak, and others. It requests the origins of COVID-19 be released without redactions.

Through his media demands and legal means, Senator Paul is fighting for the world as he demands answers. Only a real investigation that is free of bias can answer the enormous questions asked around the world.
