State Department to Approve Flying “Black Lives Matter” Flags

State Department to Approve Flying

( – The Black Lives Matter (BLM) movement has been around for quite a few years, but it took America by storm after the death of George Floyd in May 2020. The group remains committed to its Marxist roots and has staged many protests this year, many of which ravaged cities with violence and destruction. Yet, a newly leaked memo from the US State Department shows some government buildings can now show support for the BLM movement.

On Monday, May 24, the news site Human Events published a document leaked from the State Department, detailing how any US “Diplomatic and Consular posts” can choose to fly a BLM flag or post BLM messaging around the building for the duration of this calendar year. The memo notes this is “an authorization, not a requirement.”

The US Consulate General in Thessaloniki, Greece decided to act on the new approval:

This outrageous statement is trying to make an apology for Floyd’s death and shows governmental support for a radical political group that should not have any ties to our democracy.
