Trump Says Election Is “Under Protest” Ahead of Electoral College Vote

Trump Says Election Is

( – President Donald Trump has fought for a free and fair election well past Election Day. On Monday, December 13, the President sent a series of tweets declaring the election is “under protest.” This happened just before electors gathered at state legislatures to cast their electoral college votes.

President Trump’s Twitter thread outlines multiple aspects of voter fraud that have shown up across our nation:

While Republicans continue to file lawsuits alleging unconstitutional election policies and illegal votes, Joseph R. Biden Jr. earned over 270 electoral votes on Monday, December 14. However, Trump campaign senior adviser Jenna Ellis believes the date of “ultimate significance” is January 6. This is when Congress counts electoral votes.

Many Republicans hold out more hope for Inauguration Day. Evidence of the alleged voter fraud continues to appear, so only time and lawsuits will tell us exactly what happened in the week of November 3 and who our next president will be.
