(ConservativeInsider.org) – Since Target announced that it was going to follow the lead of other large organizations and step into the controversial culture wars by stocking LGBTQIA+ merchandise, there have been a variety of interesting reactions from customers, influential political and media figures, and the financial stock market.
Customers have been verbally abusing, and in some cases physically attacking Target staff while knocking over displays of the merchandise and posting threatening content and videos onto social media. In addition, various media personalities have weighed in with their opinions, politicians have sought to make political capital out of it, and the market value of Target has gone through the floor.
Target’s attempts to quell the furore by moving LGBTQIA+ merchandise to the back of their stores seems to have only made matters worse as gay and transgender activists have berated executives and accused them of pandering to extremist elements (yes, that would be those conservative and Christian upholders of traditional values that have been so mocked and derided over recent years.)
Now US Senator JD Vance (R-Ohio) has stepped into the fray by announcing that he will no longer shop at Target, and he has advised others to do the same. He says that the company has “waged war” on its traditional customer base by stocking the LGBTQIA+ merchandise (some of which has direct links to Satanist organizations) and that the company’s stance effectively amounts to the sexual grooming of young children.
He has received a lot of support from other prominent political figures and MAGA supporters such as Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga), who said that Target should beware of a similar fate to that which has befallen Anheuser-Busch, the company behind Bud Light which has lost an estimated $15 billion in market capitalization since it decided to put the face of a transgender model (Dylan Mulvaney) onto its products.
Greene said of the many men who have stopped drinking Bud Light: “Their wives will most likely no longer shop at Target either.”
