Woman's Access to 401K Blocked Over Vaccine Status

(ConservativeInsider.org) – When the COVID-19 vaccines first rolled out, many Americans were thankful for the potentially life-saving shots. However, disputes around whether or not someone receives the vaccine are now at an all-time high. United Airlines even directed one of its unvaccinated pilots to take unpaid leave without an option to seek other employment or access her retirement savings.

On Sunday, January 23, Sherry Walker, co-founder of Airline Employees 4 Health Freedom (AE4HF), told reporters during the “Defeat the Mandates” march in Washington DC about her current dispute with United Airlines. According to Walker, the company placed her on unpaid leave, prohibited her from moving to another airline, and stopped her from accessing her 401k — all because she did not receive a vaccine against COVID-19.

A statement from United said they offered Walker an alternative job that would not deal directly with customers, but it did not describe the job or the pay cut Walker would have to take.

Daily Signal reporter Mary Margaret Olohan shared an interview with Walker:

Walker told reporters that United is keeping her on as an “active employee” despite her unpaid leave, meaning the company can call her back to duty within two weeks. This strange state of limbo is clearly taking its toll on Walker and her financial situation. Understandably, she is now more determined than ever to fight for her right to medical freedom. Hopefully, Walker can find a way to start again with a company that respects her expertise and commitment to freedom sooner rather than later.
