(ConservativeInsider.org) – A video posted by Israeli government social media accounts claiming that no civilian is innocent in Gaza has triggered a massive controversy.
The controversial video accuses Palestinian civilians of helping Hamas terrorists in the killing and abduction of Israeli citizens during the October 7 attacks.
According to the video, Hamas paid Gaza civilians to keep the Israeli hostages in their homes, and the terror group is urging civilians to engage in war crimes, which should be strongly condemned.
This video came at a time when Israeli forces are facing intense criticism for what the global community is calling genocide.
More than 37,000 Palestinian civilians have been killed, with almost 40% of them being children, according to data from the Palestinian Health Ministry.
War experts called the Israeli government video a justification of their war crimes.
Conflict and War researcher Mark Kersten stated that the video was a “disgusting” attempt by the Israeli government to justify its warring ambitions. He asked the International Criminal Court and the International Court of Justice to take notice of the video.
Kersten further noted that the video blurs the line between Hamas and civilians, which shows that the Israeli government is indicating that it can target anyone in Palestine.
Similarly, the executive director of the Council of American-Islamic Relations, Nihad Awad, stated that the video is a “confession” from Israel, and it shows that Israel has no fears of facing any accountability for its actions.
The video was later deleted from X amid unprecedented backlash. X has faced criticism for platforming controversial ideas in the wake of the latest Israel-Palestine conflict. The social media giant has previously stated that it has deleted hundreds of thousands of posts in the last eight months.
This is not the first time that the Israeli government has come under scrutiny for calling Gazans Hamas sympathizers.
Recently, David Mencer, the spokesperson of Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu, claimed that Hamas is luring Gazans in its trap, and no one in the world is condemning Gaza civilians for siding with Hamas in the conflict.
