(ConservativeInsider.org) – Former President Donald Trump said he believes that First Son, Hunter Biden, is calling the shots behind the scenes and that President Joe Biden’s “ego” will not allow him to step out of the 2024 presidential race.
Hunter Biden had previously come into the spotlight for selling access to his father when he was serving as the vice president of the United States. He reportedly sealed multiple business deals overseas using the reference of the “big guy,” which he later acknowledged was his father.
Speaking in a Fox News interview, Trump stated that Jill Biden is insisting her husband to remain in the race as she is “having a good time” at the White House. The former president also claimed that Biden is being covered by the people around him, adding that we have entered a stage where it is now difficult for everyone to cover the president.
Trump also blasted media outlets for their unnecessary backing of Biden and once again called them “fake news” that do not bother about the reality. According to the former president, Biden desperately needs to speak to his doctors and will never step down in a situation where the choice has boiled down to his ego.
Trump’s remarks came at a time when Biden has already reiterated his commitment to stay at the top of the Democratic ticket in the 2024 elections. Despite facing rising calls to step down from the Democratic establishment, Biden is reluctant to allow anyone else to contest for the White House. Democrats are already racing against time if Biden announces his decision to step down at this stage, as the new nominee will have to start their political campaign from scratch with less than four months remaining until the elections.
Trump also speculated that Democrats would only want to see Vice President Kamala Harris as the possible replacement for Biden, and any other nominee would only increase their worries.
