FBI Not Trusted To Handle Trump Shooting Investigation

(ConservativeInsider.org) – The politicization of the FBI under President Joe Biden has worried conservatives that the agency’s investigation of the assassination attempt on Donald Trump will be nothing more than a formality.

Republican lawmakers want Congress to lead the investigation into the incident, believing that the FBI’s existing leadership lacks trustworthy credentials. Representatives Lance Gooden, Jim Banks, and Senators Rand Paul and Gary Peters are urging bipartisan Congressional lawmakers to investigate the matter, citing concerns about the lack of trust in the FBI.

These concerns against the FBI’s integrity stem from many controversial steps that the agency took under the leadership of President Biden. The FBI allegedly used anti-terrorism tools to target outspoken parents who had concerns about COVID-19 mask mandates and school closures.

Similarly, the agency tried to label multiple conservative Christian organizations as “radical-traditionalist Catholics” entities and accuse them of propagating hate. This extremist effort urged 20 state attorney generals to write a letter to US Attorney General Merrick Garland and ask him to investigate the agency’s internal memo that discriminated against some Christians.

The same FBI planned to use deadly force against Trump during their raid on the former president’s Mar-a-Lago residence in pursuit of the classified documents, a case that has now been dismissed. Despite having conclusive knowledge about the authenticity of Hunter Biden’s disgraced laptop, the agency remained silent when the allegations against the first son were labeled as Russian misinformation.

The Secret Service investigation of the assassination attempt is also becoming controversial. Chair of the House Oversight Committee, James Comer, has asked Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle to “preserve” every document related to the unfortunate shooting. The agency has a long history of manipulating evidence and getting away with it without any legal repercussions.

The agency failed to detect a pipe bomb outside the Democratic National Committee headquarters in January 2021 when then VP-elect Kamala Harris was present inside the building. Later, the agency failed to produce evidence regarding the incident in front of the Department of Homeland Security and admitted to erasing multiple phone call records.
