J.D. Vance’s Never-Trump Past Revealed

(ConservativeInsider.org) – Donald Trump’s running mate, JD Vance, is being scrutinized for his past anti-Trump remarks where he compared the former president with fascists like “Hilter” and called him a complete disaster.

Before the 2016 presidential elections, Vance claimed in a private conversation that he was confused about whether to call Trump a “cynical a–hole” or “America’s Hitler.”

In 2016, he also liked a tweet that called Trump one of the most “villainous” and “hated” celebrities of America. The same year, Vance claimed that Trump was unfit to become the president of the United States and that he was a fraud who exploited the people around him.

Before the 2016 presidential race, Vance also revealed his plans to vote for independent candidate Evan McMullin as he blamed Trump for misleading the “white working class.”

Just one month before the 2016 elections, Vance claimed to be a “never Trump guy,” and on a separate occasion, he stated that Trump is against immigrants and Muslims, for which he finds him “reprehensible.”

In 2017, he discussed the likelihood of running for the US Senate as a candidate who believes that Trump was a “moral disaster.” Just five years later, in 2022, Vance won the Senate seat after being endorsed by Trump. While endorsing Vance at the time, Trump acknowledged that Vance had said negative things about him like many other people but announced to forgive it for winning the tight senate race.

Many people who voted for Trump were racist and xenophobic, Vance said on one occasion, as he blamed Trump for “actively antagonizing” voters of color.

A major shift in Vance’s narrative on Trump came in 2020 when he backed the former president’s election fraud claims. In 2021, he apologized to Trump and felt regret for “being wrong about the guy. Vance has recently claimed that he is one of the biggest supporters of Trump in the US Senate and will do everything to make his victory possible in the November elections.
