(ConservativeInsider.org) – Former Republican Congressman Ron Paul raised several apt questions regarding the Secret Service’s shocking failure to stop the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump.
The former lawmaker noted that undermining meritocracy and promoting controversial DEI policies in the hiring of an important agency like the Secret Service is pushing the United States into chaos. He also raised questions about the use of the Secret Service force when it cannot do its only duty but continues to hire people on DEI policies.
He also asked why law enforcement agents did not kill the shooter or remove the former president from the stage, despite knowing for at least two minutes before the attack that a person with a rifle was crawling on the rooftop.
Paul cast doubts on the efficacy of the investigations that will now follow, suggesting they may try to hide bureaucratic and governmental errors during the whole episode. He further argued that only a genuine investigation, which he believed would not happen, could reveal the truth about the assassination attempt.
Paul continued by stating that major media outlets promoted fear-mongering against Trump, and when their incitement of violence resulted in a tragic incident, they were shocked. He added that even after the shooting, liberal media outlets continued with false and highly biased reporting of the incident.
The former GOP lawmaker argued that conservatives are often blamed for promoting conspiracy theories, but the murder attempt on Trump has unleashed numerous conspiracy theories from the left, claiming that Trump orchestrated the shooting himself to boost his popularity ratings.
Paul also quoted former Navy SEAL Erik Prince, who stated that the presence of a shooter carrying a rifle within 150 yards of a former president is either pure malice or sheer incompetence on the part of the Secret Service.
The media monopoly and the elite capture of the country are also evident in their attempts to censor social media outlets that have emerged as a primary source of unfiltered news, the former lawmaker concluded.
