(ConservativeInsider.org) – Third-party presidential hopeful Robert F. Kennedy Jr. has come under intense scrutiny for hiring a right-leaning influencer, Zach Henry, who is well known for his controversial stance on the January 6 capitol attacks.
Henry is the CEO of an influencer marketing firm, Total Virality, and has served in Vivek Ramaswamy’s campaign.
He previously blamed Democrats and the far-left organization Antifa for orchestrating the Capitol Hill attacks. Meanwhile, surveillance footage of January 6 shows Henry in a mob that was present outside Congress on January 6, 2021.
However, there is no evidence showing that Henry went inside the Capitol with other intruders or attacked the police officers, which has largely safeguarded him from law enforcement agencies. Although the government initially tried to prosecute even peaceful protesters of the January 6 events, they later on focused on those who entered the Capitol. This is the reason why Henry remained out of trouble in the January 6 investigation, which saw over 1,200 people being charged with various crimes.
Henry’s presence in the RFK Jr. campaign has attracted the spotlight because his involvement in the January 6 protests signifies his diehard support for former president Donald Trump, who is being challenged by RFK Jr. While RFK Jr.’s candidacy is more likely to impact Biden’s chances of reelection as a whole, he is also impacting Trump’s chances in some states like Pennsylvania, which is expected to be a crucial state for both the major candidates.
While speaking to media outlets, Henry declined to tell about his exact location on January 6, but he confirmed that he was indeed present in Washington, D.C. that day. When he was shown his pictures and video clips outside Capitol Hill, he stopped responding.
Throughout his career so far, Henry has remained involved in influential positions in the Republican electoral setup. While serving as the communications director of the Arizona Republican Party, he controlled the party’s social media outlets and reportedly posted heavily pro-Trump content.
