Soap Opera Star Robyn Bernard Passes Away at 64

American audiences were introduced to Bernard in the 1980s when she landed guest appearances on shows like “Whiz Kids,” “The Facts of Life,” and “Simon and Simon.” But it was in 1984 that her career took a major turn.

Bernard joined the cast of General Hospital, portraying the aggressive and ambitious Terry Brock. The character, the daughter of the villainous D.L. Brock (played by David Groh), quickly became a fan favorite. Terry’s journey resonated with viewers, particularly her struggles with alcoholism that intertwined with her dreams of becoming a singer.
