(ConservativeInsider.org) – Controversial media personality and Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend Amber Rose has announced her support for former President Donald Trump for the 2024 presidential election.
Rose took to Instagram and posted her picture with the former first couple and captioned it “Trump 2024 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸”.
During a 2016 interview, Rose called Trump a “f***ing idiot” and hoped that he would not win the presidency. Back at that time, the American of Cape Verdean ancestry also claimed that she would migrate to Canada in case of Trump’s 2016 victory, although she later backtracked, stating that Canada is a very cold place to live.
Now after supporting Trump for this year’s elections, Rose faced backlash on social media, with people pummeling her with their frustration over her endorsement. One follower said that it is sad to see a woman supporting Trump, while another stated that this endorsement is against everything she preaches.
One person questioned Amber’s authenticity as a female rights advocate, in terms of how she could support a person who played a massive role in reversing Roe vs. Wade.
Many other celebrities, artists and personalities, including Chief Keef, Dennis Quaid, Waka Flocka Flame, Jason Aldean, Money Man, and Azealia Banks have already thrown their weight behind the former president.
Rose became famous as Kanye West’s girlfriend and later, was in a high-profile relationship with multi platinum rapper Wiz Khalifa. She dated West in 2009 and was previously married to Khalifa, with whom she shares a son.
She has previously worked as a stripper and was criticized by both West and Khalifa, who “slut-shamed” her multiple times.
She was inspired by Slutwalk that was organized in 2011 in Canada in response to a police officer’s comments who suggested that women should not be dressed like sluts. Rose started her own Slutwalk in Los Angeles in 2015 and attracted her supporters to the event, which she per claimed was to raise awareness about gender inequalities.
Although Biden recently closed the gap with Trump in national polls, the former president has once again taken the lead nationwide as Biden’s approval ratings continue to plummet.
