Ramaswamy Hurls Expletive At CNN Commentator

(ConservativeInsider.org) – After the fourth Republican presidential debate, CNN commentator Van Jones had some criticisms of candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, and Ramaswamy wasn’t willing to take them lying down.

Jones called Ramaswamy an “American demagogue” as well as a “very despicable person” after Ramaswamy’s comments that Democrats support the “Great Replacement Theory” during the debate. The Great Replacement Theory is the idea that liberals and Jewish people are seeking to bring more migrants into the country to replace white voters, an idea that some believe is white supremacist. Jones claimed he was “shaking” while listening to Ramaswamy, who is the son of Indian immigrants, discuss the concept. Jones further called Ramaswamy’s comments “one step away from Nazi propaganda,” and worried out loud that Ramaswamy will live a half century longer than Trump.

A few days later, at the Turning Point USA’s America Fest conference in Phoenix, Arizona, Ramaswamy brought up the criticisms from Jones and laughed about them. He mocked Jones for calling Ramaswamy “dangerous” and saying he was shaking over his comments at the debate. Then he said, “Just shut the f— up.” Members of the audience cheered and stood up to show their support for Ramaswamy, who repeated his sentiment, expletive included.

Though Ramaswamy’s numbers have dipped in polls in recent days, he is one of the few candidates who hasn’t been attacked by the clear frontrunner, former President Donald Trump. At a recent speech in New Hampshire, Trump attacked candidates like Nikki Haley and Ron DeSantis, as well as Joe Biden. However, when he got to Ramaswamy, he said “We like Ramaswamy,” giving his reasoning as “because he likes Trump.” Calling it a potential “personality defect,” Trump said he likes people who like him. The most recent polls on Republican candidates puts Trump as the first choice of 60-70% of Republicans. DeSantis is in a distant second place, holding 10-13% of voter support.

The next Republican debate will be held on Wednesday, January 10th, 2024, and will be hosted by CNN.
