Squad Dem Funneled $435K to Anti-Israel Consultant

(ConservativeInsider.org) – Progressive Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib paid more than $435,000 to an anti-Israel campaign firm whose founder has connections with US-designated terror groups.

Tlaib, who is the only lawmaker of Palestinian descent in the House of Representatives, used the services of a grassroots advocacy group, Unbought Power, led by Palestinian American Rasha Mubarak, for “fundraising consulting.”

According to Mubarak, she is fed up with “lies” that Israel has any right to defend itself against the terror activities of its hostile adversaries.

Mubarak is also currently working for another advocacy firm, Alliance for Global Justice, which has deep-rooted ties with multiple terror organizations like Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) and other far-left international groups, including the Samidoun Palestinian Prisoner Solidarity Network.

Other “Squad” members, including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, and Cori Bush, have also channeled more than $86,000 to Mubarak’s consultancy firm.

Mubarak, also working as the president of the advocacy wing of the far-left group U.S. Campaign for Palestinian Rights, has sponsored the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions (BDS) National Committee. This committee inspired many students to join anti-Israel college protests in America, who demanded that their colleges should cut-off any financial ties with Israel to isolate the Jewish state at the international level.

Not to mention, Mubarak has previously worked with the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), whose founder, Nihad Awad, stated that he was glad to see Palestinians attacking Israel on October 7. One of the former members of CAIR was also convicted of financing Hamas in 2008.

This is not the first time that Tlaib is making headlines for her anti-Israel ambitions. Just last year, she was censured by the House for supporting an anti-Israel slogan that many congress lawmakers from both parties perceived as antisemitic.

She also attracted criticism for voting “present” on a House resolution that was meant to condemn the sexual violence by Hamas terrorists against Israeli citizens, claiming that the resolution did nothing to condemn the similar actions by Israeli forces.
